Thanks to everyone’s efforts here, Mike Richards is an NHL All-Star.
The hard work has really paid off!

Looking at the outbound exit pages and traffic statistics on VoteMikeRichards.com, and all the votes he tallied on NHL.com, there is no doubt in my mind that we had major play in getting him into this game.

Following months of effort getting Mike Richards several thousand write-in votes into this year’s NHL All-Star ballots, voting closed. The campaign was a
huge success for the young Philadelphia Flyers center, and rumor has it he will be selected as a coaches decision.

Since I will be attending the 2008 All-Star Game in Atlanta, I’m throwing out the options to your guys.

I’ll be blogging very often on things that I’m witnessing during my time down there. From trips and photos around the city, to reports on the skills competition, and the actual game itself.

Leave me comments to suggest some kinds of things you’d like to see, or would like me to elaborate on during the entire weekend.

Thanks to everyone’s help and continuing efforts, rumors are that Mike Richards has made the All-Star team via coach’s selection according to Flyers sports columnist Tim Panaccio.

It hasn’t been long, and already we’re growing at a very rapid pace!

Today, the Courier Post, one of South Jersey’s biggest media markets, and the Bucks County Courier Times plugged VoteMikeRichards.com. This is absolutely AWESOME for us, and our cause.

Like we’ve been saying since the beginning, spread the word to all who are hockey fans. Anything to help support the cause is something great!
